Hardik Pandya’s costly watch steals spotlight, valued at eight times Asia Cup winner’s prize

PUBLISHED: LAST UPDATE:

A report published in some sections of media estimated its value at a whopping Rs 20 crore. If the Rs 20 crore figure holds true, the watch’s worth is nearly eight times larger than the Asia Cup winner’s purse, which stands at Rs 2.6 crore.

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya, renowned not only for his all-round brilliance in limited-overs cricket but also for his bold fashion sense, continues to grab eyeballs both on and off the field. Whether it’s his trendy hairstyle, tattoos, or diamond-studded earrings, Pandya never fails to make a statement. His latest accessory—a luxury timepiece—became the talk of the town during India’s first practice session at the Asia Cup 2025.

Reports suggest that Pandya has been regularly sporting a Richard Mille RM 27-04, a rare limited edition watch listed on richardmille.com. While the exact price isn’t publicly disclosed, a report published in some sections of media estimated its value at a whopping Rs 20 crore, while Instagram account ‘watchspotter’ puts it at around Rs 15 crore. If the Rs 20 crore figure holds true, the watch’s worth is nearly eight times larger than the Asia Cup winner’s purse, which stands at Rs 2.6 crore.

On the cricket front, the 31-year-old all-rounder remains a dependable asset for Team India, especially in clutch moments. As the Asia Cup kicks off, Pandya eyes important personal milestones. In 114 T20 Internationals, he has amassed 1,812 runs at an impressive strike rate of 141.67, including five fifties. He is just 188 runs away from crossing the 2,000-run mark in T20Is, a feat within reach in the tournament.

With the ball, Pandya has been equally effective, currently holding 94 wickets and needing six more to reach a career milestone of 100 T20I wickets. His best figures stand at 4/16.

India’s campaign for continental supremacy begins on September 10 against UAE, followed by the highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash on September 14. The final league match against UAE is scheduled for September 19, with the Super Four stage starting from September 20.
