Deepak Chahar lets Stubbs go without Mankading in India South Africa T20 series

The third and penultimate T20 international between India and South Africa saw a Dipti Sharma-like situation where Indian pacer Deepak Chahar had a chance of mankading Tristan Stubbs out. But Chahar decided against it letting him go just with a warning.

It was the start of the 16th over and Rilee Rossouw was on strike. Chahar was given the ball to bowl by skipper Rohit Sharma. On the first ball of the over, he saw Stubbs advancing out of the non-striker's end in a bid to take unfair advantage. Chahar didn't release the ball at the popping crease and warned Stubbs who was way out from the crease even before Chahar had released the ball.
