Showing his commitment to Al Nassr and the Saudi Pro League, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he will continue playing for the club for another season.
As per sources, the deal is beyond just the financial aspect as in a surprising move, Ronaldo has also become a part-owner of Al Nassr securing a 5% stake in the club.
Following the development, Ronaldo said that he is proud of how far the Saudi Pro League has come and the top players across the globe are gradually joining the league.
“I am honoured that the league is growing and that many star players are coming to make it an even better and more competitive league,” said Ronaldo.

With the new deal worth a massive €183 million for one season, Ronaldo has now become the world’s highest-paid player.
As per sources, Al Nassr is planning to strengthen their team to clinch the Saudi Pro League title. The club is optimistic that Ronaldo will play a key role in that journey, both as a player and part-owner.
The new contract with Al-Nassr guarantees Ronaldo an annual income of around Rs 1,892 crore, which translates to a whooping amount of Rs 35.26 crore per week and a salary of Rs 31,390 per minute.
