World No-1 para shuttler from Odisha Pramod Bhagat has been qualified for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic which will be played from August 25 to September 5, 2021. 

Apart from Bhagat (Men’s Singles Standing Lower 3), two other players Tarun Tarun and Krishna Nagar also received invitation to take part in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Badminton competition. 

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) in a letter to the Badminton Association of India (BAI) confirmed the qualification of the three players in the Paralympic.

 

“BWF are pleased to inform the Badminton Association of India and Paralympic Committee of India that the following players are invited to take part at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Badminton competition,” the BWF said.
