Bhubaneswar: Continuing his sensational form this year, ace para-shuttler from Odisha, Pramod Bhagat has added another feat by winning two gold medals at BWF China Para-Badminton International 2019. Bhagat won the gold medals in both singles and doubles categories of the tournament.

Bhagat clinched the gold medal in singles category after defeating Daniel Bethell of England 19-21, 21-13 and 21-14. He paired with his teammate Manoj Sarkar and bagged the yellow metal in doubles category by defeating another Indian duo of Vikram Kumar and Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj with 18-21, 21-16 and 21-15.

Bhagat, who recently received the prestigious Arjuna Award, was the only player from Odisha among the 17 para-shuttlers from India to take part in the championship from September 24 to 29 at Hangzhou in China.
