It was hard to believe for the fans of AB de Villiers who recently saw the South African legend playing cricket on the streets of Mumbai. 

AB de Villiers is one of the most successful overseas cricketers in IPL. Though he began his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils, he moved to RCB in 2011 and played for the franchise till last year. 

The South African player is one of the most prolific right-hander batsman in RCB with 4522 runs in 157 matches.

As per reports, ahead of IPL 2023 auction, AB reached India on November 3 to meet the RCB management and to discuss his future with the franchise. 

The legend also reportedly met Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. However, he is now trending on several social media platforms after videos of him playing gully cricket with his fans in Mumbai went viral.

Sharing the video, a Twitterati, Mufaddal Vohra wrote: AB De Villiers playing street cricket with fans in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.

Another fan of the cricketer wrote, "Man those kids are so lucky, i also want to meet him but i am in delhi , have been a die hard fan of him and rcb since 2012 , it kills me to never be able to meet him , wish i could."
