Cricket is a game of uncertainties. Hosts and defending champions who entered the tournament as one of the favourites have already bowed out of the mega event.

We are now left with four semi-finalists - India, New Zealand, England and Pakistan. All four nations have set their eyes on the ultimate goal – the T20 World Cup 2022.

India being the Group 2 toppers have set up semi-final clash with England, while Pakistan who finished second in the group will face Group 1 toppers New Zealand in the first semi-final.

While different players are having different predictions on the winner, former South African cricketer AB de Villiers believes India will lift the trophy this year.

Mr 360 who is now in India for some work said, “I think India will play New Zealand in the finals and India will win the World Cup. Everyone’s playing well. Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli are in great form. Rohit (Sharma) hasn’t been in his best of forms but he will come to the party when it matter the most. He is a fantastic player.”

“The entire batting line-up and the whole team of India is very talented. I am looking forward to them having a good game against England, which is the biggest test in my opinion. I believe if they (India) win the semi-finals, they will go on and lift the trophy,” said AB.

Recently, RCB had posted a video revealing that AB de Villiers is in India to chat with the franchise guys for next year’s IPL. AB also spent some time with master blaster Sachin Tendulkar to discuss cricket and many other things.
