Etah: The Samajwadi Party received a jolt today when its prominent leader Shishu Pal Singh Yadav joined the Congress.
Yadav, who was an MLA for 10 years from Etah assembly constituency, was inducted into the Congress in the presence of Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh and other leaders.
"Yes, I have left the Samajwadi Party to join the Congress," he said but refused to divulge details on why he left the party.
