The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is considering the current year as a focus year for the organisation, State BJP general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan said on Saturday.

On June 21 and 22, there will be several programmes in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. BJP national general secreatry (organisation) B L Santosh will analyse the process of survey and review of the party’s organisational conditions, informed Harichandan.

“In the coming month, party’s national president will also pay a visit to Odisha. Several Union Ministers will come to the State to attend several programmes. They will take stock of the party’s condition in the State,” added Harichandan.

“I think all these activities will have a positive impact on the party and it will become stronger,” Harichandan said.

Notably, Senior BJP leader and former MLA Pradeep Purohit had on Wednesday informed that the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold special programmes at all 36 organisational districts on June 15 to mark the celebration of eight years of Modi government at the Centre.
