Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Odisha on March 5, State Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena took stock of the arrangements on Friday. 

As per sources, Prime Minister Modi will attend a programme in Telangana on March 5. From there, he will come to Odisha on a special flight. From the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, he will go to Chandikhole in a helicopter. 

In Chandikhole, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several projects. Later, he will address a public meeting. In the evening, he will be back in Bhubaneswar and return to New Delhi.

Commenting on PM Modi's visit, state BJP vice president Biranchi Tripathy said, “Besides inaugurating and laying foundation stones of several projects, he will also address a public meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to build faith among the people of Odisha that BJP will form the government here.”

Last time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Odisha on February 3.
