Union Minister Amit Shah on Friday stated that CM Naveen Patnaik cannot ensure the development of Odisha. If the state needs to develop, the people here should vote for the double-engine government under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership.

While addressing a huge public meeting in Rourkela, Union Home Minister Amit Shah claimed that this time there will be a double change in Odisha and the party will win over 15 Lok Sabha and 75 Assembly seats and the state is going get painted in saffron colour. He asserted that the 2024 election is an election to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time, starting a new chapter in Odisha by ousting Naveen Patnaik, providing houses to 3 crore people and other developments in the country.

While addressing the public meeting, Shah said that Congress was dillydallying on the Ram temple issue and it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who ensured Bhoomi puja and constructed the grand temple in Ayodhya in his second term. In Odisha, the BJD government stopped people from participating in the Ram Utsav, alleged Shah.

Odisha Elections To Restore Odia Pride

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to end Naxalism in Odisha. The 2024 elections are all about restoring the Odia language, literature, culture and pride, said Amit Shah. It was PM Narendra Modi who appointed Droupadi Murmu as the President of India. Similarly, PM Modi deliberately picked the Konark Sun temple as the backdrop to welcome the top delegates at the G20 Summit.

“The BJD government is not giving importance to Odisha's language and culture and pride. Should the governance be in the hands of an Odia or a Tamil? In the name of the Parikrama project, the government here tried to make Puri a tourist hub while no steps have been taken to open all gates of Srimandir, alleged Shah.

Ratna Bhandar Keys Mystery

For a long time the people of Odisha and millions of Jagannath devotees have been asking about the Puri Ratna Bhandar keys, said Shah.

“CM Naveen Patnaik should answer where are the original keys of Ratna Bhandar, who made duplicate keys and whether they were used to open the treasure trove? Vote BJP to power, we will make the Commission's report public within a month,” said Shah.

'25 Lost Years For Odisha'

While addressing the public meeting in Rourkela, Union Home Amit Shah said that the 25 years are lost years for Odisha. The Western part of Odisha has been meted out with step-motherly treatment by the Odisha government, alleged Amit Shah.

“Today, 27 lakh families do not have pucca houses, 26 lakh houses do not have piped drinking water facilities, 6412 villages lack proper roads and farmers’ income is much lower. If voted to power, the BJP will procure paddy at Rs 3100,” said Shah.

According to Shah, PM Modi is sending 5 kg ration per person but Naveen Babu is distributing it in a bag with his own image.

“Instead of providing bags, Naveen Babu should have added 2 kg more rice for the benefit of the people here. The state government here is not implementing one nation, one ration card,” said Shah.

'Tribals Loosing Land'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government while addressing the public meeting at Rourkela. “Who should run the government? Under Naveen Babu, officers are running the government for which tribals are losing their land. However, PM Modi is concerned for the tribals and increased the budget along with other welfare schemes for them including Ekalavya schools, tribal museums and others.
