BJP National Vice-President and party’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda on Friday intensified his campaigning ahead of the 2024 elections. Panda jumped into campaigning mode by attending a series of assembly-level activists’ conferences in Mahakalpada. He also met with the senior leaders of the region and discussed various organizational issues in detail.

Exuding confidence about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term, Panda said that the mission of 400 plus seats will be successful along with the Kendrapara LS seat.

Earlier, Panda was accorded a huge welcome by locals and party workers at Ramnagar. He also visited the famous Maa Ramchandi Temple in Mahakalapada. BJP’s Assembly candidate Durga Prasanna Nayak was also present on the occasion.

“A crucial meeting was held today at Mahakalpada and what needs to be done and other aspects were discussed. There is a huge excitement among people for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term. There will be a double-engine government in Odisha,” said Panda.

According to Panda, BJP had registered a 400 percent rise in vote share in Kendrapara in 2019 as compared to 2014 elections. People have started to know that the ration, drinking water and pucca houses are being provided by the Modi government.

“Several schemes like Ayushman Bharat have not been implemented in Odisha. Once implemented, it will provide huge benefits to the people as per PM Modi’s guarantee which has already reached scores of beneficiaries under various schemes across the state. Now the schemes of Centre cannot be hijacked anymore,” Panda said.

The senior BJP leader further appealed to voters to listen to their hearts and vote for BJP as there has been massive development in the country under PM Narendra Modi. Earlier, industries could not be set up in Kendrapara due to infrastructural issues. During my tenure, I worked hard and the dream of 30-40 years for a railway line is possible, said Panda.

“As railway line has now come up here, industries should have also come up during the last five years. But nothing happened. As railway infrastructure has now come up, industries will come and thousands of youth will get employment here, ”Panda added.
