The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha on Monday launched vehicles for its Abhimat Sangrah Abhiyan (collection of public opinion drive) to prepare its Sankalp Patra (election manifesto) for the state at the state party office.

The party has set a target to reach out to one crore people and seek their suggestions and opinions on various issues before making a poll plank for the upcoming elections.

As per information, as part of the BJP’s Viksit Bharat, 42 such vehicles will move about in all Lok Sabha constituencies to collect the views of the people.

Each vehicle will have a Sankalp Patra box in which people can drop their opinions and suggestions in written format on the issues such as augmentation of farmers’ income, effective and practical measures to deal with labour migration and what can be the government action in the multi-crore chit fund scam.

Moreover, people can give their views and opinions through the NaMo App of the party and can send their suggestions and opinions on the above-said issues by way of voice message or SMS to the toll-free number 9090902024 to directly connect with the Prime Minister.

On the basis of the public opinion and suggestions, the BJP will prepare a roadmap for Odisha’s development after drawing up a poll plank for the 2024 elections.

While launching the vehicles for the opinion collection drive, the BJP leaders appealed to the people to participate in the drive in large numbers and give their valuable views and advice so that the party would work on it.

Former Odisha BJP president Samir Mohanty said,”For the 2024 elections, the BJP is collecting views from 140 crore people of the country including 4.5 crore in Odisha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prepared a roadmap for Viksit Bharat and he has fulfilled 95 percent of the election manifesto of the 2014 elections in the last 10 years while 99 percent of the 2019 elections manifesto has been fulfilled. This has proved Modi’s guarantee.”
