On the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President and party’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate, Baijayant Panda visited the Mahaveer temple at Garapur in Kendrapara to have darshan of the deity. 

From there, the BJP stalwart went to Ram Mandir at Tinimuhani, where he offered worship to Lord Ram and sought His blessings. Later, Panda along with scores of devotees partook of prasad on the temple premises. 

Speaking to the media, the president of Tinimuhani Ram Mandir Committee, Bibekananda Moharana said, "The people who have faith in Lord Ram and seek His blessings always remain peaceful and happy. Uttering Ram Nam brings peace to souls.”

Golak Behera, a devotee, said, "Leaders and workers of various political parties come to the temple to seek blessings of Lord Ram. Today is a great festive occasion and the temple has been thronged by thousands of devotees.”

Earlier in the day, Baijayant Panda visited the Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar and offered prayers.
