Ahead of the second phase polling scheduled to be held in Odisha on May 20, several BJP heavyweight leaders will be seen in action to campaign for party candidates between May 15 and May 18, 2024.

Be it Union Home Minister Amit Shah or Assam and Rajasthan Chief Ministers, the top leadership of the saffron brigade will be hitting the campaign trail in Odisha during this period. It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Bhubaneswar and addressed public meetings at three places recently.

Sharing details, Odisha BJP vice-president Golak Mohapatra said that the BJP National president will conduct a roadshow from Mausima temple to Lingaraj temple and later address public meetings in Padampur and Sundargarh on May 16 (tomorrow).

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Other BJP Leaders’ Schedule

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma will be visiting Odisha and is scheduled to attend three public meetings at Brajarajnagar, Bonai and Attabira on May 16, 2024.

The Assam CM will be addressing another public meeting at Jatani in Bhubaneswar the same day.

Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai will be visiting Odisha and is scheduled to attend public meetings at Talasara, Bijepur and Birmaharajpur on May 16.

The Assam CM will be again holding public meetings at five places in Odisha including Kabisuryanagar, Kantabanji, Loisingha, Satyabadi and Pipili on May 17.

Similarly, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai will also be addressing public meetings at three places- Sundargarh, Rajgangpur and Biramitrapur on May 17.

On May 17, veteran actress and senior BJP leader Hema Malini will be visiting Odisha. She will address public meetings at North Bhubaneswar, Cuttack Kishorenagar and hold a roadshow in Pipili

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma will hold public meetings in three places in Sanakhemundi and Kandhamal. Ashiwini Vaishnaw will be visiting the state on May 17 and May 18.

On May 17, Vaishnaw will attend public meetings in Athagarh and another public meeting the next day in Sundargarh’s Bonai.

On May 17, Amit Shah will hold a public meeting in Rourkela.
