BJD workers have been roped in to review the Mo School works in 93 blocks of Odisha, alleged BJP on Friday. A delegation of BJP today moved the Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in this regard.

BJP spokesperson Satyabrat Panda said that the Election Commission of India (ECI) had recently transferred eight senior officials. Despite this, the government hasn't learnt a lesson.

“Now, employees have been roped in for the review of 93 Mo Schools under the 5T initiative as per a letter issued on April 10. The reviewing meeting is being held today. We had nothing to say if they were only employees. But as per the list we got, some have been appointed as volunteers who are actually BJD workers,” alleged Panda.

According to Panda, they met the CEO and urged him to warn the Odisha government against indulging in such activities. Apart from this, Sundargarh SDPO and Inspector of Bhasma Police Station Ramprasad Nag are working for the ruling party, alleged Panda adding that both are threatening BJP workers and 40 false cases have been slapped against party workers.

“Both officials are more excited than the workers of BJD and participating in the poll process,” Panda added. Meanwhile, no comments could be obtained from BJD leaders over the allegations.
