Amidst rising election fever, the BJP on Friday got a shot in the arm as over one hundred workers of the BJD and Congress joined the saffron party in the Kendrapara Lok Sabha constituency on Friday. 

The saffron party organised a ‘Mishran Parva’ in Kendrapara constituency where over one hundred BJD and Congress workers from different parts of Kendrapara block embraced the BJP. They said they have joined after being inspired by the Prime Minister’s principles and ideology.

These BJD and Congress workers were inducted into the party in the presence of BJP National Vice President and Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda, Kendrapara Assembly candidate Geetanjali Sethi and district President Kishore Panda. 

“There is a huge pro-BJP and pro-Narendra Modi wave in India, Odisha as well as in Kendrapara. As a result, influenced by BJP’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayanat Panda and Assembly candidate Geetanjali Sethi, many workers of the BJD and Congress from different areas of Kendrapara block joined us today,” said Sanjay Rath, BJP's Kendrapara District Vice President.
