Bhubaneswar strong room under three-tier security, CCTV surveillance: Police Commissioner

In Bhubaneswar, a three-tier security system and CCTV surveillance have been made for the EVMs stored for the upcoming vote count on June 4. Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda detailed extensive measures including vehicle checks in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, and the deployment of multiple platoons of armed forces in and around BJB Colege.

Checking and blocking of vehicles will be carried out in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar till June 4, the day of vote counting, while three-tier security and CCTV surveillance are in place for the EVMs in the strong room in Bhubaneswar. This was informed by Commissioner of Police Sanjeeb Panda on Sunday.

Speaking to the media, the Commissioner of Police said that vehicles will be checked at check posts inside the cities.
