BJP VP Baijayant Panda accorded grand welcome in Kendrapara, kick-starts election campaign

BJP National Vice President and Kendrapara Lok Sabha MP candidate, Baijayant Panda kick-started his political campaign by holding a massive roadshow on the auspicious occasion of Utkala Dibasa on Monday.

Panda reached Kendrapara to a rousing reception from people and scores of party workers. A massive roadshow from Duhuria Chhak to Baldev Jew temple was also taken out where Panda offered prayers and started his poll campaigning.

Braving intense heat wave conditions, the residents of Kendrapara were eagerly waiting to welcome their popular leader.

“There is an excitement among people after Baijayant Panda was re-nominated for the Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat,” said a local resident.

“We had made a mistake in the last election and we have decided to ensure that Baijayant Panda ji wins from Kendrapara. He (Baijayant Panda) has done a lot of work here in Kendrapara in the past. The people have realised that he is the only leader who stood with them always,” said a local resident.

Baijayant Panda Stood By Our Side

People from several Assembly constituencies took part in the massive roadshow. After getting information about today’s programme, scores of people voluntarily reached the spot to welcome Baijayant Panda in Kendrapara.

“Baijayant Panda is everything to the people of Kendrapara as he stood with them always during their tough times. A lot of people feel that Baijayant Panda has played a crucial role in the development of Kendrapara by undertaking a lot of developmental works in the past,” said another resident.

“We feel proud that Kendrapara’s leader has been with us during floods, drought and other disasters. We are happy that he is again contesting the polls from the Parliamentary seat. This time we will ensure that he wins by a big margin,” said a party worker.
