After quitting Congress, Khariar MLA Adhiraj Panigrahi joins BJD

A day after quitting Congress, Khariar MLA Adhiraj Mohan Panigrahi joined the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday. Adhiraj resigned from the primary membership of Congress and sent his resignation letter to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Sarat Pattnayak on Tuesday.

This is said to be another jolt for the Congress ahead of the crucial 2024 elections in Odisha.

Earlier, Rajnagar MLA Ansuman Mohanty joined the BJD after quitting the Congress.
