BJP Yuva Morcha on Thursday announced to gherao the Odisha Legislative Assembly on February 28 over the deteriorating law and order situation in the State.

As per the announcement made by the youth wing of the saffron party, their stir will continue as long as the investigation of the high-profile Cabinet minister Naba Das’ murder case has not been completed.

Yuva Morcha President Irasis Acharya said in a presser that the stir will be further intensified in the coming days.

As per Acharya, BJD has been ruling Odisha for the last 23 years. However, common people in the State are not safe and secure. While, the legislators of the saffron party are staging protests over Naba Das murder case inside the House, the youth wing of the party will continue their stir outside the Assembly.

“BJP Yuva Morcha will gherao the Odisha Assembly starting from 10 am on February 28. Our agitation will continue as long as the people of Odisha are not secured and justice is given to the family of Naba Das,” said Acharya.

The budget session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is currently underway. The House witnessed ruckus on Wednesday for the second consecutive day after the Opposition parties targeted the ruling party over Minister Naba Das murder and other issues.

Notably, Naba Das died hours after allegedly being shot by Gopal Das near Gandhi Chhak at Brajarajnagar in Jharsuguda district on January 29.
