Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President Baijayant Panda on Sunday attended a programme held on the occasion of Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at the party office in Boudh district. 

On the occasion, five personalities of the district like freedom fighter Gourmohan Mishra, writer Padmabati Mishra, culture aficionado Karunakar Ghantual, social activist Bisweswar Prusty and social reformer Debashis Purohit were felicitated. 

All the party members and activists of Boudh district took part in the programme and listened to the Prime Minister's address to the nation. 

Panda said it was a matter of great pleasure for him that he came to Boudh after a long gap and met party workers. 

“We all together listened to ‘Mann Ki Baat’. This programme is observed in every state, every district. Our aim is to see this programme to be observed in every mandal and booth as well. Starting from National President J P Nadda to all the ministers and others take part in this programme. The objective is to see the message reaching out to every village,” said Panda. 

“Here, besides listening to our Prime Minister, we also felicitated five renowned personalities of the region,” he added.
