"It will be always better to go to people`s court instead of running such a coalition which encourages corruption and tries to break the country into pieces... and then the people will return the person to power with massive mandate," Kumar said.
He was reacting to Prime Minister`s statement in New Delhi earlier in the day that some compromises have to be made in managing a coalition while declaring that his government would bring all the wrongdoers in scams to book.
On PM`s remarks that he was not that big a culprit as being made out to be, Kumar said nobody had cast personal aspersions on Singh.
"If, at all, PM has accepted that he has committed mistake, it raises doubts that there is something wrong," he said adding corruption is the "biggest burning issue" before the country and it has created doubts over the credibility of a government.
On the charge that the entire drama was being enacted in order to shield a minister from Gujarat, the chief minister said allegations and counter-allegations continue to be there.
"But a government which has failed to ensure smooth run of Parliament can`t be able to run the country," he remarked adding that his government would not tolerate corruption and continue its fight against corruption.
Asked whether he harboured ambitions of becoming prime minister, Kumar said: "I have received massive support of people from Bihar to work for them and I don`t see anywhere left and right other than engaging my full energy to come upto their expectations".
