A breakup or a divorce can be one of the most painful experiences in a person’s life. Ending a marriage is never an easy task. It takes a lot of guts to call off the marriage and restart a new life.
Nobody ever imagines ending up in divorce when they get married. However, not every marriage is a 'happily-ever-after.' Marriages end up in divorce due to various reasons and Lauren Brooke also was a victim of the ugly phase.
However, instead of being dejected over it, she chose to celebrate it and start her new life with new enthusiasm, better understanding, and better decisions. To commemorate her victory, Brooke with the help of her mom and friends, decided to celebrate in a unique manner. She celebrated her divorce with a photoshoot, opened a bottle of champagne and set her wedding dress on fire along with all the photos and other memories of her ex-husband.
Sharing her story on Instagram, Brooke wrote, “This past year has been hard but I survived it! This photoshoot was a reminder that I made it even when I didn’t think I would.” (sic)
She continued, “Divorce is hard, divorce is ugly and honestly it’s not something you imagine when you get married! I don’t wish it on anyone however I am so glad it’s over.” (sic)
“So here’s to this chapter and all the other ones to come! Thank you God for the lessons! I DO, I DID, I’m DONE!” she concluded. (sic)
