Youth kills cousin brother over land dispute in Odisha

In a shocking incident, a youth was brutally killed by his cousin brother allegedly over some land dispute at Basudevpur village under Ganjam’s Pattapur police limits on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Kulu Pradhan, son of Kansa Pradhan from Basudevpur village.

As per reports, Kulu reportedly had an altercation with his cousin yesterday night over a land dispute. Irate over this, the accused allegedly attacked Kulu with the help of an iron rod.

Following the attack, Kulu was rushed to Adapada medical for treatment where doctors declared him dead.

On getting information, Pattapur police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy. Meanwhile, the accused cousin brother of the deceased has been detained and further investigation in connection with the murder case is underway.
