Youths chased & hacked in Bhubaneswar, hospitalised 

A gang of 20 to 30 miscreants attacked two youths with sharp weapons at Airport Square in Bhubaneswar at around 9.30 pm on Sunday. 

While the identities of the injured youths and the attackers were not ascertained till the time of filing of this report, past enmity is believed to be the reason behind the attack. 

According to sources, akin to a scene straight out of any Bollywood action movie, some 20 to 25 persons attacked the youths with sharp weapons at Airport Square.

Since it was around 9.30 pm, there were people at the square but none could dare to go near them to rescue the youths. The victims were trying to save themselves but the miscreants kept attacking them while chasing.   

Later, some people gathered courage and intervened. They rushed the severely injured youths to the nearby Capital Hospital. 

Following reports, police have launched an investigation.
