Woman 'raped' on Dussehra night in Odisha; accused on run 

In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly raped at a village under Motu Police limits in Malkangiri on Sunday night. 

As per reports, the survivor is being looked after by her single father since the death of her mother. On the fateful night, the Dussehra night, she was alone in her house as her father was away to catch fish.

Taking advantage of her being alone, a youth from a neighbouring family entered her house and allegedly raped her. 

Acting on the complaint lodged by the victim’s family, Motu Police has launched a probe and a manhunt to nab the accused who has been on the run since committing the crime.
