A youth was violently assaulted by a group of miscreants at the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Bus Terminal in Baramunda, Bhubaneswar, on Wednesday night. The shocking incident took place in full public view, raising serious questions about safety and public response.

As per reports, the attackers surrounded the young man, pulled him aside, shouted aggressively, and then launched a coordinated assault. Using belts, sticks, and their hands, they beat him repeatedly with slaps and blows. The group continued the attack without restraint, showing no fear of consequences, while numerous people stood by watching.

While the assault unfolded, several other passengers at the terminal remained seated.
