Union Home Minister Amit Shah to undertake a two-day visit to Odisha soon, informed State BJP secretary Kalandi Samal on Wednesday.

Speaking to OTV about Shah’s Odisha visit, Samal said, “As a part of Lok Sabha Pravas programme, the Union Home Minister will come to Odisha. However, the dates are yet to be finalised.”

“During his two-day visit to the State, he will go to Dhenkanal and Bhadrak. He will take part in several meetings with the party workers and interact with them,” Samal added.

It is worthwhile to mention here that, the saffron party has launched 'Lok Sabha Pravas' programme to strengthen its presence at the grassroots ahead of the 2024 general elections.

As a part of the programme, party’s National President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will undertake 'pravas' in every state to start party’s pre-poll campaign ahead of the polls.

Notably, Shah had last visited Odisha on August 8, 2022. During his two-day visit, Shah attended the 75th anniversary function of an Odia daily and launched a book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among other programmes.
