According to PM Modi, no industry can grow without adopting new technology. Hence, research and innovation is important. The government is creating a vibrant ecosystem and allocated funds with announcements of a new package, he said.

“I urge industries to create such an ecosystem in Odisha which can work with the aspirations and give scope to the youths with more job opportunities. To understand India, Odisha is the best destination as it has a rich history, heritage and natural resources. The state is a perfect model for development and heritage,” said PM Modi.

PM Modi said, “The Konark Wheel was displayed during the G20 summit. We need to explore the tourism potential of Odisha which has a vast coastline; 33 percent forest cover and the vast scope of eco-tourism, adventure tourism awaits you.”

“Today, India’s focus is 'wait in India' and 'heal in India'. For this, Odisha’s nature and scenic beauty are helpful. There is a lot of potential for conference tourism in the country. In Bhubaneswar, there are a lot of good convention centres. There is a lot of potential for concert economy as well. In the last 10 years, the demand for live concerts has gone up. You must have seen fabulous pictures of Coldplay concert organised in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. It shows that India has a massive scope for live concerts,” said PM Modi.

According to PM Modi, tourism can get a boost with massive job creation through such concerts. “I urge all to focus on necessary skills, event management, grooming of artists, security and other aspects. In Odisha, there is a lot of scope in this aspect. The state has a major role in Viksit Bharat and the people have taken a pledge for Samruddh Odisha. The Centre is extending all possible help to Odisha,” PM Modi added.
