Telangana conman arrested in Odisha for duping girls on Instagram 

Police arrested a fraudster from Rourkela Railway Station on Monday for allegedly tricking girls into romantic relationships on Instagram and duping them financially.   

As per reports, the accused has been identified as Kadam Sadashiv, a resident of Telangana. Sadashiv allegedly posed himself as an RPF official on his Instagram account and managed to establish romantic relationships with some girls. Later the accused allegedly tricked the gullible girls into paying him handsomely.  

He had reportedly been involved in such activities over the last few years.

There are several complaints at the police station pending against him in this regard.

Following a complaint by the RPF, the GRP arrested the accused and produced him in court.   

SDPO of GRP (Rourkela), Prakash James Toppo said, "Following a written complaint from the RPF staff, a case was registered at the Rourkela GRP station. During the investigation, police came to know that the accused posed himself as an RPF official and duped the complainants financially. He was arrested. “

He added that the accused has defrauded several other persons too.
