The Odisha State Transport Authority (STA) is leaving no stone unturned to impart road safety lessons through interesting posts on its social media handles.

On the occasion of ‘Sabitri Brata’, the STA did not miss the opportunity to make a striking appeal to people. While taking to its official Twitter handle, the STA urged the couples observing the Sabitri Brata to take a pledge to follow the road safety norms.

In the picture used, STA has tried to impart the lesson that helmet is mandatory and important for both the rider as well as pillion riders.

This is not the first time that the STA has come up with a unique message on road safety. In the recent past, the STA used several instances including the spat between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir in one of the matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Sharing pictures showing Virat and Gambhir and two motorists, the STA tweeted, “Whether it is cricket ground or road, rage is not welcomed.”

Earlier, the STA had also shared Avesh Khan’s helmet-throwing video in IPL to create road safety awareness.
