In view of the rush and stamped-like situation at some places, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida had urged the people to avoid unnecessary rush and clarified that there is no deadline for the registration process.

Sharing details about why there is no particular deadline to submit the Subhadra application, Parida, in an exclusive interview with OTV, said, "We have not fixed any deadline expecting huge rush. If there will be a deadline, the situation will worsen. We have a target to include over 1 core beneficiaries under the scheme. The registration process will continue till the last one submits the application."

"Those who will register in October or November, they will also get the first installment and the second installment will be given on March 8. No matter what, every beneficiary will get Rs 50,000 in 10 installments (Rs 5000 each) under the scheme," Parida added.

Asked about the number of queries received through the helpline number, the deputy CM said, "On an average we get 30,000-32,000 calls every day. From the daily number of calls we receive at the call centre, it is evident that the form distribution is being done properly by the Anganwadi workers at the ground level."
