More than one crore beneficiaries have enrolled in the Subhadra scheme so far, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Tuesday.
According to the Deputy Chief Minister, more than 35 lakh women with NPCI clearance will get the 2nd phase release of the first installment under the scheme on Wednesday.
“The Chief Minister will release the second phase money of the first installment under Subhadra Yojana to the accounts of the beneficiaries before 12 pm tomorrow. One crore women joining any government scheme within a half month is historic. Women are very much advanced digitally. I extend my thanks to them,” said Deputy CM Parida.
Notably, the ambitious Subhadra Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a special function held at Bhubaneswar on his birthday on September 17.

Under the scheme, Odisha government will transfer Rs 10,000 per year to eligible women beneficiaries in the state between the ages of 21 and 60.
