Subhadra Yojana 2nd installment to be disbursed in special programme in Berhampur: Pravati Parida
The Silk City Berhampur is set to witness the distribution of the second installment of the Subhadra Yojana funds, informed Odisha deputy chief minister Pravati Parida. The funds will be distributed at a special programme organised in Berhampur on March 8 (International Women’s Day).
This initiative plays a crucial role in extending financial assistance to genuine beneficiaries, thereby fostering economic stability among women in Odisha.
“At least 1 crore women will get their money through direct transfer under Subhadra Yojana on March 8. As promised, we have hit the 1 crore target. All the 1 crore women will get their funds deposited directly in their bank accounts during a special event held scheduled to be held in Berhampur,” the Deputy CM told media persons.
The Deputy CM also opened up on Uttam Mohanty’s demise and said, “We have lost a gem of a person. It is indeed a sad day that we have lost our superstar. I pray to Lord Jagannath to give him shelter.”
Preparations in Berhampur for the Disbursement Programme:
The organising committee is meticulously planning the event to ensure a seamless distribution process. Transparency and efficiency are at the core of this initiative, aiming to deliver tangible benefits to the recipients.
