It is suspected that the vehicle was travelling at high speed from the Red Cross Bhawan area towards Shastri Nagar. After crossing the traffic signal, the car lost control, broke through the barricades placed on the side of the road, and ultimately crashed into the house.

According to the family’s claims, there were two individuals in the car, who appeared to be in an inebriated state. The impact of the crash was so intense that the airbags deployed, preventing injury to the riders but causing significant damage to both the car and the house. The vehicle’s number plate indicates it is registered under Bhubaneswar RTO No. 1, but further investigations by the police will determine the identity of the owner and the riders.
