Sky-dining restaurant in Puri
Adventure-seeking food lovers in Puri can now dine 100 feet above the ground at a newly launched ‘sky-dining’ restaurant near the Lighthouse and Hotel Rivera.
The suspended platform, held by a crane, offers panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal, Marine Drive, and the iconic Jagannath Temple while guests enjoy their meals.
Hoisted atop near Puri’s coastline, the open-air platform accommodates up to 20 diners and is raised to 100 feet in the air using a crane, with adjustments made for wind conditions to ensure stability.
The experience offers one session that lasts one hour, allowing guests to soak in seaside views during daylight or under starry skies. Operating daily from 3 PM to midnight, the experience targets both tourists and locals.
