SIT cracks down on black money & corruption
An important meeting of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday was held in Cuttack under the chairmanship of SIT Vice-Chairman Justice Arijit Pasayat. The meeting focused on discussions related to illegal financial transactions, black money, and measures to curb corruption.
Particularly, the review centered on what actions have been taken against corrupt officials in government, how much black money has been recovered, and what steps are being initiated against those currently under surveillance.

Senior officials including Crime Branch IG Sarthak Sarangi, Vigilance SP S. Radhakrishnan, Principal Director of Income Tax Department Sandeep Goel, Deputy Director of Enforcement Directorate Manish Jaiswal, and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
