Almost 20 days have passed by, but petty politics by political parties have snatched away the purity of the peaceful protests and candle marches by the people of the country. Meanwhile, angry protestors have demanded the rapists to be shot at sight in full public.

“This is not the world we are gonna live in. We are women and we have all the rights to survive. We want justice and nothing else,” demanded an angry protesting doctor.

“We demand shoot at sight for the rapists right in front of the public, nothing else,” she added.

“Living in 2024 in the 21st century, where our CM is a woman, we are afraid to leave our homes. In the morning before stepping out of the house, we are worried if we will return home safely. We will see our parents or not,” Abhaya’s colleague said.

Similarly, another protesting doctor said, “12 years have passed to Nirbhaya, but nothing has changed. The hospital is our second home. Imagine, we are getting raped and killed in our own homes. What can be worse than this?”

“This is impossible that it is the work of one person. That is a gangrape. Abhaya was a strong woman. All the women are strong. CBI should interrogate every male staff who was present that day. Sadly, CBI is also saying that all the evidence has been tampered with,” he added.

“Now, no woman will ever trust a man. If your colleagues can do such a heinous crime, then how can women believe men,” he stated.

A retired man who joined the protest said, “Every son and every daughter should be secure in this place. The government is trying hard to hide the evil secrets behind this heinous crime. What is happening and what has happened in RG Kar is despicable.”
