JP Nadda In Odisha

In a candid and action-oriented address, the BJP National President JP Nadda on Saturday gave a strong message to the party’s lawmakers, ministers, and senior leaders attending the ongoing BJP training workshop in Puri, Odisha. Stressing humility, discipline, and grassroots connect, Nadda listed out 14 specific points as guidance and tasks for the elected representatives and party leaders.

“Don’t be proud or arrogant because you are an MLA, MP, or Minister. Leave behind groupism and flattery. First, build your own identity and credibility,” Nadda told the gathering, which included chief ministers, deputy chief ministers, union and state ministers, MPs, and MLAs from across the country.

MP Aparajita Sarangi said, “JP Nadda’s address pin-pointed on 14 points. He directed all of us to go to villages and engage ourselves in various developmental works by taking everybody together as a family.”

JP Nadda’s Tips And Mantras

Addressing the workshop, Nadda emphasized the need for elected representatives to reconnect with the grassroots. “Go to the Anganwadi centers and local medical facilities. Sit there for at least half an hour. Understand what the public is experiencing. Observe the implementation of government schemes on the ground,” he directed.

MP Rudra Pani said, “JP Nadda asked us to accept all and work in a competitive mode.  As per JP Nadda, a leader is one who doesn’t care to remain in the limelight. Just one needs to do his/her job properly and everything will fall in line.”

Nadda further advised the leaders to stay in regular contact with Dalit families in their constituencies and maintain strong relationships with government officials to ensure the smooth execution of developmental projects. "You must know how to get work done by cooperating with the system. Coordination between the government and the organization is essential," he added.

In his session that lasted for over an hour, the BJP chief gave a detailed roadmap on how to enhance synergy between the government machinery and the party structure. He urged leaders to move beyond ceremonial politics and invest time in actual fieldwork. “Stay informed about both state and central government schemes. Visit your constituency and see how effectively those schemes are being implemented,” he said.

The training camp has been organized to strengthen the ideological grounding, administrative coordination, and electoral preparedness of BJP’s public representatives. Alongside JP Nadda, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda, and others were also present during the session.

Nadda’s address is being seen as both a motivational push and a subtle warning to party leaders to remain grounded, proactive, and accountable—not just during elections, but throughout their tenure.
