The Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Commissionerate Police busted a sex racket operating from a massage parlour under Kharvelnagar Police limits in Bhubaneswar on Friday. 

The police rescued four women and detained two youths following the raid. 

The police were tipped off about the flesh trade at a massage parlour in Satyanagar. Taking the piece of information seriously, a team was formed that conducted raids at the said place. During raids, the police found some objectionable articles. 

Informing about the development, Kharvela Nagar police station IIC, Rajanikant Mishra said, “We have rescued four women and detained two youths. The youths were running the parlour. We are interrogating them.”

“From the preliminary investigation, we came to know that the racket was functioning for the last three to four months. The identity verification of the women is underway. Anything about their criminal antecedents can be said only after the completion of the investigation,” he added. 
Notably, the police had last busted a sex racket in Capital City's Bhimatangi area in March this year.
