MKCG Hospital
Allegations of ragging at MKCG Medical College and Hospital have come to the fore once again. Several second-year students were allegedly subjected to ragging in the MCH.
As per sources, guardians of several students have brought the matter to the attention of the National Medical Council (NMC).
In response to the complaints, the NMC sent a letter to the dean of MKCG MCH.
Upon receiving the letter, the dean has directed an investigation into the matter. However, no students are reportedly willing to open up about the incidents.
The allegations include serious complaints of mental and physical torture.
Meanwhile, the dean has announced that a meeting will be convened at the college’s anti-ragging cell to address the situation.
