An audio clip of the phone call in which the kidnapper of Samarth Agarwal threatened the victim’s father Sunit Agarwal to give Rs 90 lakh has surfaced.

In the audio call, it is heard that the kidnapper is threatening the businessman from Sarbahal area in Bargarh to pay Rs 90 lakh at Howrah station in Kolkata in a bid to get back his kidnapped son.

Though Sunit pleaded to allow his son to talk with him, the abductors did not pay any heed to his request. Sunit again said that he belongs to a poor family and he will not be able to arrange Rs 90 lakh even by selling his entire property.

“Please give me some time. Don’t do anything to my son. I will do whatever you wish,” Sunit could be heard pleading before the kidnapper in the audio clip.

In reply, the accused is heard giving Sunit the deadline of tomorrow evening to pay the ransom amount.

When Sunit informed the kidnapper that Samarth’s mother has fallen ill, the accused said he had to face the consequence as he revealed the incident to everybody.

In reply, Sunit said that he has not told anything to anybody. The children in the colony must have revealed the incident outside.
