Police conduct flag march in Bhadrak ahead of Muharram

As per reports, the flag march, which was conducted jointly by Bhadrak Police and the personnel from OSAF begun from Goshala square in Bhadrak and moved through Puruna Bazar, Santhia, Mochi Chhak, Kacheri Chhak and reached Goshala Chhak.

Bhadrak Police conducted a flag march in the district headquarters on Thursday ahead of the observance of Muharram in the town.

As per reports, the flag march, which was conducted jointly by Bhadrak Police and the personnel from OSAF begun from Goshala square in Bhadrak and moved through Puruna Bazar, Santhia, Mochi Chhak, Kacheri Chhak and reached Goshala Chhak.

17 platoons of police force including 80 officers joined the flag march.

Muharram will be observed on July 29 in Odisha.

Earlier, the festival was scheduled to be observed on July 28. But later on Thursday, the Odisha government moved the holiday to Saturday.
