PM Modi’s 3-day Odisha visit: Amit Shah, Ajit Doval to RAW chief to accompany PM; know full schedule

PM Narendra Modi to visit Odisha from 29 Nov to 1 Dec with Amit Shah and Ajit Doval. The visit includes attending the DGP conference in Bhubaneswar focusing on law and order issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to be on a three-day visit to Odisha from November 29 to December 1. After attending the oath-taking ceremony of CM Mohan Majhi and launching the Subhadra Yojana, this will be the third visit of PM Modi after the humongous victory in the General Elections 2024.

This time, the PM is coming to Odisha to attend the three-day Director General of Police (DGP) conference in Bhubaneswar from November 29 to December 1. Special security arrangements will be made for PM Modi and Amit Shah. The entire city has been put on high alert and the venues where PM Modi is set to join a programme have been declared ‘no flying zone’. Besides, 38 platoons of police force, five CRPF companies and as many BSF companies have been deployed.

PM Modi’s 3-day Odisha Visit Schedule

As per the itinerary, PM Modi is scheduled to depart from Delhi Airport (TA) on November 29 at 1415hrs and land at Bhubaneswar airport at 1620hrs. Thereafter, he will depart from Bhubaneswar airport at 1625hrs by road to his venue of the programme and arrive at 1630hrs.

He is expected to attend a felicitation programme that will go on from 1630 to 1700hrs. From there, he will depart at around 1705hrs and arrive at the Raj Bhavan at around 1715hrs and leave at around 1820hrs and arrive at the BJD headquarters at 1830hrs. He is scheduled to hold meetings at the BJP headquarters. He will then leave the BJP Headquarters at around 2035hrs and arrive at Raj Bhavan at 2045hrs where he is expected to have the night halt.

The next i.e. on November 30, the PM will leave Raj Bhavan at around 0820hrs and arrive at the Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhawan at 0825hrs where he will attend the DGsP/IGsP Conference from 0830 to 2000hrs. From there, he will depart at around 2005hrs and arrive at Raj Bhavan at 2010hrs for the night halt.

On the third day i.e. December 1, he will depart from Raj Bhavan at around 0815hrs and arrive at the convention centre, Lok Seva Bhawan at 0820hrs where he will attend the conference from 0825hrs to 1630hrs. Later, he is expected to depart the Lok Seva Bhawan at 1635hrs and directly leave for Bhubaneswar airport.

DGP Conference: Know Who All Will Accompany PM Modi

PM Modi is most likely to be accompanied by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval for the three-day conference. Besides, senior officers of the Intelligence Bureau, DGPs of all states, DG of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), chiefs of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), National Security Guard (NSG) and Special Protection Group (SPG) will attend the conference.

The three-day event will majorly focus on evaluating the performances of states in addressing law and order situations and finding ways to deal with the emerging challenges for security and law enforcement agencies in the country.  

Several Issues like internal security, Left Wing Extremism, terrorism and counter-terrorism, cybercrime and challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) tools will also discussed during the DGP conference.
