OSRTC CAO in Vigilance net; raids underway at 6 places in Bhubaneswar

Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted raids at several places linked to the Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) on the charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known source of income.

The Vigilance sleuths reportedly carried out raids at six places, linked to the CAO Bijay Mangaraj, in Bhubaneswar including his office and properties at Nandan Vihar and Palasuni area.

Besides, raids were also conducted at one place in Baripada, which is reportedly linked to Mangaraj, following the allegations of possession of disproportionate assets.

Till the last report came in, Raids were underway at all the 7 Places:

1) Flat - 301, Tower - 6, Z1 Estate, Nandankannan Road, Nandan Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

2) One double storey building over plot no - 918, New colony, Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar. 

3) One Double storey building over plot no - 892, New colony, Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.

4) Bhuinya Niwas, Dhipasahi, Station Road, Baripada, Dist- Mayurbhanj.

5) Office of Financial Advisor cum Chief Accounts Officer of OSRTC, Bhubaneswar.

6) Office of Financial advisor cum special secretary, Commerce & Transport, 5th floor, Kharavel Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. 

7) Office of Director, Business Development and Finance, ORIDL, 6th Floor, IDCO Tower, Janpath, Bhubaneswar.
