Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has set a bold vision for the State to attain economic prosperity by 2036.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Majhi highlighted Odisha’s immense potential, positioning the State as a prospective growth engine for India.

According to CM Majhi, the State government is focusing on enhancing infrastructure and attracting investments to underpin this ambitious goal.

In a move towards realising this vision, the Odisha government has inked eight significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Singapore. These include an agreement for the creation of an industrial park in collaboration with the Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha (IDCO). Additionally, a MoU to develop a green shipping corridor in Paradip and establish a modern city near Bhubaneswar has been formalised.
