Odisha govt transfers several senior OAS officers in major administrative reshuffle 

The Odisha government has effected a major reshuffle in the state administration with the transfer and posting of several senior OAS officers, as per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department on Tuesday.

According to the order, Gangadhar Nayak, OAS (SS), Director, Housing & Ex-officio Special Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Department, has been posted as Managing Director, Odisha Urban Housing Board (OUHB), Bhubaneswar and Managing Director, Odisha Rural Housing & Development Corporation (ORHDC)-cum-Special Secretary to Government, H&UD Department.

Subhananda Mohapatra, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, H&UD Department, has been posted as Director, Housing-cum-ex-Officio Additional Secretary to Government, H&UD Department.

Rajani Kanta Swain, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary, Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission, Bhubaneswar, has been elevated as Secretary of the same commission.

Bishnupriya Sahoo, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, Information & Public Relations Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department.

Ashok Kumar Behuria, OAS (SAG), Ex-CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Jajpur, has been posted in the GA & PG Department as Additional Secretary to Government, Information & Public Relations Department.

Gayatri Datta Nayak, OAS (S), C.G.M., Orissa State Disaster Mitigation Authority (OSDMA), Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government, PR & DW Department.

Durjyodhan Bhoi, OAS Gr.A (SB), Ex-Sub-Collector, Malkangiri, who joined in GA & PG Department, has been posted as Additional Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Kalahandi.

Chandrakant Mallick, OAS Gr.A (SB), OSD, Office of the Director of Town Planning, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as OSD, Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), Bhubaneswar, on foreign service terms and conditions.

Similarly, the services of Saroj Kumar Panda, OAS Gr.A (SB), Deputy Director, OBC Cell, have been placed at the disposal of the Water Resources Department for further posting in the Brutanga Irrigation Project, Daspalla, Nayagarh.

The notification directed the controlling authorities to relieve the transferred officers within seven days, failing which they would be deemed centrally relieved with effect from September 3, 2025.
