The Odisha government has appointed new Collectors and District Magistrates in 16 districts, including Dr. Maheswar Swain and Amrit Ruturaj, to enhance governance and service delivery.

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Odisha government has appointed new Collectors and District Magistrates in 16 districts. The reshuffle aims to bring fresh leadership to key districts and strengthen governance at the grassroots level.

The following IAS and OAS officers have been assigned as the new Collectors and District Magistrates:

Dr. Maheswar Swain, IAS – Nabarangpur

Amrit Ruturaj, IAS – Khordha
Dibya Jyoti Parida, IAS – Puri
Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, IAS – Malkangiri
Ashish Ishwar Patil, IAS – Dhenkanal
Dr. Subhankar Mohapatra, IAS – Sundargarh
Keerthi Vasan V, IAS – Ganjam
Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, IAS – Koraput
Vedbhushan, IAS – Kandhamal
Kulkarni Ashutosh C, IAS – Rayagada
Madhumita, IAS – Gajapati
Chavan Kunal Motiram, IAS – Jharsuguda
Raghuram R. Iyer, IAS – Kendrapara
Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, IAS – Boudh
Nruparaj Sahu, OAS (SS) – Sonepur
Ambar Kumar Kar, OAS (SS) – Jajpur

These officers will assume charge in their respective districts, taking over critical responsibilities related to administration, law and order, and development initiatives.
