Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo encountered an unfortunate incident during his visit to Cuttack on Sunday.
The visit was aimed at reviewing the arrangements for the upcoming women's fair, which is set to take place on June 13 at the lower Bali Jatra ground.
However, while assessing the preparations, Deputy CM Singh Deo accidentally twisted his foot, leading to an immediate medical examination that revealed a hairline fracture in his left foot.
As per reports, Singh Deo was promptly taken to the SCB Medical College and the Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. Doctors at the facility have confirmed the injury and are monitoring his recovery closely.

The Deputy Chief Minister has been actively involved in overseeing the preparations for the event, which holds significant cultural importance in the region.
